IMPORTANT: This year's ride is on Monday, July 5th.

The Tour of Payne is an organized bicycle ride offering 18, 36, 62, and 104 mile routes. It is sponsored by Stillwater's Red Dirt Pedalers Bicycle Club.

An annual patriotic bicycle ride on various routes within Payne County. Participants are invited to the city's "Boomer Blast" celebration the evening of the 4th. This event celebrates the place "where Oklahoma began," close to the start of the 1889 Land Run in North Stillwater.

Tell the hotel you are with the RDP bicycle ride and receive a room rate of $60.

Ride start time is 7:30 a.m.

All routes are well marked and will be supported until 2:30pm by SAG vehicles.

Fully stocked rest stops will be provided at appropriate intervals until 2:30pm.

Rest Stops will be located in or near Ripley, Cushing, Mehan, and Yale.

Showers will be available after the ride at the Stillwater Plaza Hotel. Please bring your own soap and towel.

The entry fee is $20.00 for those that pre-register by June 15, 2009 and $25 afterwards.
